What is media blasting?
Coating removal is achieved by blasting environmentally friendly products such as sodium bicarbonate, recycled crushed glass, corn cobs, potassium sulfate and walnut shells.  Applications include:

Why should you properly prep your wood home prior to applying stain or other products?
Failure of a stain or coating can be caused by several reasons which almost always are a result of poor surface adhesion. Wood is porous and this means that the applied material must penetrate and not lay on the surface.  Protection from the elements is essential to ensure the maximum return on stain investment.
Abrasive Blasting - opens grain and exposes the true grain of the wood.
A Water Blast - directly following the media blast will wash all residue and decayed materials away.
